i currently have checked out the book hip-hop high school the book seems to be about a girl named theresa anderson trying to compete with her older brother andre, who just towers over her o be the best example in the family but theresa is smart but her brother is a superachiver. thresa's bestfriend is pregnant and dropped out of school so theresa turns to hip hop for comfort. the book tells the rest of the story
